All the Odin’s Ravens locations in God of War Ragnarök (2024)

God of War Ragnarök re-introduces the obnoxious, chirping Odin’s Ravens from God of War (2018). There are 48 total Odin’s Ravens in Ragnarök, scattered throughout most of the game’s nine explorable realms.

Unlike the first game, however, you don’t collect Odin’s Ravens simply for the sake of collecting Odin’s Ravens. No, every vivid green bird you track down contributes toward an ongoing side-quest called “The Eyes of Odin.” In Niflheim, there are six chests that hold special items and can only be opened when you’ve killed a certain number of Odin’s Ravens.

In this guide, we’ll walk you through how to find all of Odin’s Ravens in God of War Ragnarök and complete “The Eyes of Odin” quest.

God of War Ragnarök, like God of War (2018), is a game all about exploring various realms multiple times, and uncovering more and more on each visit. This makes posting guides — and screenshots — a bit tricky. Because Kratos wears his gear on his person, there are times where you may see an item in a screenshot that you don’t have access to yet.

However, despite this challenge, we’re going to do our best to preserve the God of War Ragnarök experience for first time players. We’ve listed out each location based on when you visit it, and will create a clear spoiler marker for second and third visits so you can skip over areas you haven’t been to yet.

Tips for hitting Odin’s Ravens

If you played God of War (2018), you know that Odin’s Ravens are a big pain in the ass to take down. For giant, glowing birds, they can be a bit difficult to spot and hit. In God of War Ragnarök, you’re in for more of the same in this regard. However, we do have two quick tips to make it all a little easier.

Listen close for a raven’s caw

Odin’s Ravens seem to be a bit louder this time around, and are much easier to find with your ears than before. If you’re hunting for ravens (first, we recommend you consult our helpful images and descriptions below!) use your ears more than your eyes. The shrill chirp of the ravens usually means they’re somewhere where you can see them. Just be sure to look high and low, and follow the sound if you have surround sound.

Just come back later

Finding ravens is only half the battle in God of War Ragnarök; you actually have to hit the suckers. The Leviathan Axe is, by design, slow and heavy. This is great for chopping up baddies but not so great for sniping birds as they soar through the sky. If you’re having trouble hitting a bird who’s flying or far away, we have some advice: wait and remember.

We won’t spoil anything for you, but about halfway through the game you’ll unlock a tool that will make killing these ravens significantly easier if they’re either flying or are far away. Remember where the raven is (or bookmark this guide) and come back when you have that tool in hand.

Niflheim

Niflheim is home to a big white tree filled with ravens, which is where all of Odin’s Ravens go when you destroy them in the other realms. As you progress through the raven quest, you’ll be able to open more and more chests, each with their own goodies.

We’ve listed out the six chests below, how many ravens you’ll need to open them, and what rewards you’ll earn from each one.

Odin’s Raven rewards from Niflheim Legendary Chests

  • 6 Ravens - Girdle of Raven Tears
  • 12 Ravens - Bracers of Raven Tears
  • 18 Ravens - Cuirass of Raven Tears
  • 28 Ravens - Breath of Thamur Heavy Runic Attack
  • 38 Ravens - Meteoric Slam Heavy Runic Attack
  • 48 Ravens - The Finger of Ruin Heavy Runic Attack

Svartalfheim

Svartalfheim is the realm of the dwarves in God of War Ragnarök, and the first area you’ll encounter Odin’s Ravens. There are 13 total Ravens here, but you’ll only be able to access nine on your first visit to the realm.

Aurvangar Wetlands Raven

The first Odin’s Raven in Svartalfheim is located in the Aurvangar Wetlands, almost immediately after you leave the Mystic Gateway.

When you leave the Gateway and enter the map, move left until you reach a small camp. While facing the camp, turn right and you’ll see the Odin’s Raven perched atop a volcanic rock. Take it out with your Leviathan Axe.

Nidavellir raven

All the Odin’s Ravens locations in God of War Ragnarök (3) Image: Santa Monica Studio/Sony Interactive Entertainment via Polygon

There is only one Raven in the dwarven city of Nidavellir, and it’s in the town square with the statue of Odin — meaning you’ll need to backtrack if you use the Nidavellir Mystic Gateway.

In the town square, to the left of Sindri’s shop, you’ll see Odin’s Raven perched on the house with the waterwheel on it, sitting comfortably above the blue awning.

The Watchtower

All the Odin’s Ravens locations in God of War Ragnarök (5) Image: Santa Monica Studio/Sony Interactive Entertainment via Polygon

The Watchtower — the dividing island in the Bay of Bounty — houses another one of Odin’s Ravens, which you can actually see on your boat ride over.

All the Odin’s Ravens locations in God of War Ragnarök (6) Image: Santa Monica Studio/Sony Interactive Entertainment via Polygon

Make your way up to The Watchtower and walk behind it to the deck — the same location where the Draugr Hole is. From there, aim up and to the left, toward Nidavellir. Eventually, you’ll see the green Odin’s Raven fly into view. Take aim and kill it with your ax.

Radsvinn’s Rig raven

All the Odin’s Ravens locations in God of War Ragnarök (7) Image: Santa Monica Studio/Sony Interactive Entertainment via Polygon

Just across the way from The Watchtower, on the same island, you’ll find Radsvinn’s Rig, home to another Odin’s Raven.

All the Odin’s Ravens locations in God of War Ragnarök (8) Image: Santa Monica Studio/Sony Interactive Entertainment via Polygon

Make your way to the Nornir Chest in the area, which is to the left of the Mining Rig. Look up and to the left of the chest toward the hook being supported by the giant crane. The Odin’s Raven will be lounging on the hook ready for your ax to destroy it.

Althjof’s Rig raven

Another of the Bay of Bounty’s many Odin’s Ravens is sitting at the entrance of Althjof’s Rig.

When you park your boat at the third rig site, climb the chain and you’ll spot the Raven immediately — it’s sitting behind some cracked wood. Take out your ax and silence it.

Lyngbakr Island raven

All the Odin’s Ravens locations in God of War Ragnarök (11) Image: Santa Monica Studio/Sony Interactive Entertainment via Polygon

Once you raise the Lyngbakr during “The Weight of Chains” side-quest, you’ll be able to access another of Odin’s Ravens.

Progress the side quest until you’re able to access the fire bombs (just after liberating the second fin). Open the gate to the left of the fire bombs and grab an explosive. Carry it through the gate and then take the path to the right. You’ll come across some golden rocks. Break them and then grapple over to the other side. To the right of the nearby Legendary Chest, you’ll find a hole. Crawl through it.

All the Odin’s Ravens locations in God of War Ragnarök (12) Image: Santa Monica Studio/Sony Interactive Entertainment via Polygon

On the other side of the hole, look to your left. You’ll spot one of Odin’s Ravens chilling out on the Lyngbakr’s back, which really makes you wonder how long these things can hold their breath.

The Forge raven

All the Odin’s Ravens locations in God of War Ragnarök (13) Image: Santa Monica Studio/Sony Interactive Entertainment via Polygon

The Forge has two Odin’s Ravens, but you’ll only be able to reach one on your first visit. Ride the train up and then stop immediately.

All the Odin’s Ravens locations in God of War Ragnarök (14) Image: Santa Monica Studio/Sony Interactive Entertainment via Polygon

As soon as you’ve entered The Forge, follow the path until the volcanic rock is on your left. Wait on this walkway until you see the familiar green hue of Odin’s Raven come swooping in. Take it out with your ax before moving along to the next area, as you won’t be able to come back here and get it until much later in the game.

Jarnsmida Pitmines raven

All the Odin’s Ravens locations in God of War Ragnarök (15) Image: Santa Monica Studio/Sony Interactive Entertainment via Polygon

When you first reach the Jarnsmida Pitmines, after you kill the enemies, look for a chain that you can climb down before moving along to the next area. Climb the chain and you’ll reach a lower section of the mine with an Artifact and some strange fungus.

All the Odin’s Ravens locations in God of War Ragnarök (16) Image: Santa Monica Studio/Sony Interactive Entertainment via Polygon

Grab the Artifact (part of the Things Left Behind collection) and look out into the bay toward the distant cranes. You’ll see one of Odin’s Ravens flying around. Smash it with your ax.

Make sure you get this Raven before you head into The Applecore. If you don’t, you won’t get another chance until much later in the game.

The Applecore raven

All the Odin’s Ravens locations in God of War Ragnarök (17) Image: Santa Monica Studio/Sony Interactive Entertainment via Polygon

The Applecore is the final area in Svartalfheim — at least on your first visit — and it’s where you’ll rescue Tyr, the Norse god of war. Follow the path through the mine until you reach a puzzle where you and Atreus must split up. When you reach the other side, you should see a door on your right — which leads to Tyr — and an area for you to sidle along the wall to your left.

All the Odin’s Ravens locations in God of War Ragnarök (18) Image: Santa Monica Studio/Sony Interactive Entertainment via Polygon

If you continue looking left past the sidle wall, you’ll see the Raven perched on some broken wood. Kill it with your ax. (If you’re coming through the mine the opposite direction — which you will be if you miss this Raven the first time around — you’ll be facing it as you enter this area.)

Like The Forge and the Pitmines, if you miss this Odin’s Raven you won’t be able to get it until much later in the game.

Alfheim

Alfheim is the second big realm you’ll be able to explore in God of War Ragnarök. There are a total of 10 Odin’s Ravens here, but you’ll only be able to destroy the first six on your first visit.

The Strond raven

All the Odin’s Ravens locations in God of War Ragnarök (19) Image: Santa Monica Studio/Sony Interactive Entertainment via Polygon

When you first enter Alfheim via the Mystic Gateway in The Strond, proceed up the hill toward the Temple of Light. Follow the path up until you reach a high point in a canyon with a little circle on the ground — near the Nornir Chest.

All the Odin’s Ravens locations in God of War Ragnarök (20) Image: Santa Monica Studio/Sony Interactive Entertainment via Polygon

When you drop down from this area, walk forward until you find yourself on a large rock bridge overlooking the crest of the Temple of Light. In the distance, you’ll see a dead tree. There’s an Odin’s Raven sitting on it, so kill it with your ax.

The Temple of Light raven 1

Proceed through the Temple of Light until you reach the Light of Alfheim. When you do, take a right onto the large spiral staircase. Follow it up for just a few steps and then jump off the left side as soon as you can. You’ll find yourself in a small area with an Artifact, a Legendary Chest, and one of Odin’s Ravens.

All the Odin’s Ravens locations in God of War Ragnarök (22) Image: Santa Monica Studio/Sony Interactive Entertainment via Polygon

When you land, walk forward and around the corner to your right. You’ll find the Odin’s Raven sitting behind a metal gate. You won't be able to use the purple crystal above the Raven to hit it, so don’t even try.

All the Odin’s Ravens locations in God of War Ragnarök (23) Image: Santa Monica Studio/Sony Interactive Entertainment via Polygon

Instead, look to your left and find the purple crystal on the nearby column. Aim your ax at the bottom-left part of the crystal and position Kratos until the line turns blue. Once you’re in position, chuck your ax and it’ll kill the Raven.

The Temple of Light raven 2

All the Odin’s Ravens locations in God of War Ragnarök (24) Image: Santa Monica Studio/Sony Interactive Entertainment via Polygon

Continue through the Temple of Light — just past the Nornir Chest — until you reach a circular platform with the Light of Alfheim poking up through it. Kill the Light Elves that appear and then walk forward. You’ll see a staircase flanked with purple crystals on either side. Stop.

All the Odin’s Ravens locations in God of War Ragnarök (25) Image: Santa Monica Studio/Sony Interactive Entertainment via Polygon

Look to your left and you’ll see one of Odin’s Ravens perched on a distant building. Throw your ax at it to clear the Temple of Light of Odin’s creatures.

The Canyons raven

All the Odin’s Ravens locations in God of War Ragnarök (26) Image: Santa Monica Studio/Sony Interactive Entertainment via Polygon

When you send Tyr back home via the mystic gateway, turn left into The Canyon. Follow the path until you reach Sindri’s shop.

All the Odin’s Ravens locations in God of War Ragnarök (27) Image: Santa Monica Studio/Sony Interactive Entertainment via Polygon

Once you’ve arrived at the shop, look right toward the wooden gate barring you from a rocky side area. You’ll see one of Odin’s Ravens flying around. Kill it with your ax.

The Barrens raven

All the Odin’s Ravens locations in God of War Ragnarök (28) Image: Santa Monica Studio/Sony Interactive Entertainment via Polygon

Make your way to the giant skeleton in The Barrens, which is in the upper-right corner. Park your sled on the right side of the beast’s skull and get out.

Aim up toward the creature’s eye socket. You’ll see Odin’s Raven just sitting there. Kill it with your ax.

The Barrens raven 2

All the Odin’s Ravens locations in God of War Ragnarök (30) Image: Santa Monica Studio/Sony Interactive Entertainment via Polygon

Ride your sled to the little elven temple on the left side of The Barrens, but don’t go inside the area.

All the Odin’s Ravens locations in God of War Ragnarök (31) Image: Santa Monica Studio/Sony Interactive Entertainment via Polygon

Instead, park your sled on the left of the temple, near the gate leading to the other half of Alfheim. (Which you can’t open on your first trip). You’ll notice a dead tree sticking out of the side of a rock — and, perched on the trunk, one of Odin’s Ravens. Smash it.

Vanaheim

Vanaheim is one of the largest areas in the game, and is absolutely packed with Odin’s Ravens for you to find. There are only a handful the All-Father’s spies on the main path of Vanaheim, but once you unlock the massive River Delta side area, you’ll find quite a few more on your path.

The Southern Wilds Raven

The first Odin’s Raven you’ll find is situated almost immediately after you enter Vanaheim via The Southern Wilds mystic gateway.

All the Odin’s Ravens locations in God of War Ragnarök (33) Image: SIE Santa Monica Studio/Sony Interactive Entertainment via Polygon

When you enter the realm, walk forward and to your left. Keep an eye out for a giant archway made of roots. Walk under the arch and you’ll find yourself near a small lake. You’ll see the Odin’s Raven flying around in the sky above the water. Take it out.

Freyr’s Camp Raven

All the Odin’s Ravens locations in God of War Ragnarök (34) Image: SIE Santa Monica Studio/Sony Interactive Entertainment via Polygon

Once you reach Freyr’s Camp, walk through the big wooden doors out the back and toward the eastern woods. If it’s night time — and only if it’s night time — walk to your left. You’ll see a big blue circle suspended off the ground by some roots.

All the Odin’s Ravens locations in God of War Ragnarök (35) Image: SIE Santa Monica Studio/Sony Interactive Entertainment via Polygon

To the left of this circle, perched on a branch, is one of Odin’s Ravens. Smash it with your ax.

River Delta Raven 1

All the Odin’s Ravens locations in God of War Ragnarök (36) Image: SIE Santa Monica Studio/Sony Interactive Entertainment via Polygon

Once you finish the main story of Vanaheim, make you way into the River Delta for a few hours of side quests. There’s a ton to explore here, and several Odin’s Ravens to find.

The first of the River Delta ravens is immediately to your right when you enter the area, resting on a branch. Unfortunately, you can’t just pull out your ax and chuck it while riding about in the boat. Instead, you’ll need to find a good angle to get this Raven.

All the Odin’s Ravens locations in God of War Ragnarök (37) Image: SIE Santa Monica Studio/Sony Interactive Entertainment via Polygon

Land on the Pilgrim’s Landing island, which is the first one you’ll encounter in the River Delta area. Progress through the area until you reach the Legendary Chest at the end. (You’ll need to use your Hex arrows to create two bridges.) Once you’re at the Legendary Chest, turn left and look through the little opening in the stone. Here you’ll see the same Raven as before. Slay it.

Goddess Falls Raven

All the Odin’s Ravens locations in God of War Ragnarök (38) Image: SIE Santa Monica Studio/Sony Interactive Entertainment via Polygon

When you reach Goddess Falls at the end of the River Delta, climb all the way up to the vine door at the top of the waterfall.

Turn left from the vine door and walk forward until you find a place where you’re able to jump down, which is adorned with climbing gear and a little bag. Don’t drop down. Instead, look up and you’ll see one of Odin’s Ravens flying around the area. Kill it.

The Veiled Passage Raven

All the Odin’s Ravens locations in God of War Ragnarök (40) Image: SIE Santa Monica Studio/Sony Interactive Entertainment via Polygon

When you finish at Goddess Falls, get back in your boat and take the right path instead of the left one. This will lead you down The Secret Veiled Passage. Ignore the Nornir Chest to your right for now and continue down the river until you reach a beach with a bunch of hanging bodies on it.

All the Odin’s Ravens locations in God of War Ragnarök (41) Image: SIE Santa Monica Studio/Sony Interactive Entertainment via Polygon

When you land, turn around and look up. You’ll see a hole in the ceiling near another hanging corpse. One of Odin’s Ravens will be perched above the corpse. Throw your ax and kill it.

River Delta Raven 2

Follow the path you took to find the Raven in the Veiled Passage. Once you reach the beach, take the path up and to the left. Go through the path until you reach the chain at the end.

Climb down and look to your right to find a lore marker. Walk over to the marker and look out onto the river below. To your left, sitting on a log, you’ll see one of Odin’s Ravens. Kill it.

Midgard

Midgard is the smallest of the four explorable realms in God of War Ragnarök, but it’s still positively packed with Odin’s Ravens. Thankfully, the white snow and dark caves of Midgard make the bright-green Odin’s Ravens relatively easy to spot.

Lake of Nine Raven

All the Odin’s Ravens locations in God of War Ragnarök (44) Image: SIE Santa Monica Studio/Sony Interactive Entertainment via Polygon

From the King’s Grave area, make your way toward Tyr’s Temple and then back toward the Raider Hideout. Don’t go inside the hideout. Instead, park your sled by the gigantic stone doors.

All the Odin’s Ravens locations in God of War Ragnarök (45) Image: SIE Santa Monica Studio/Sony Interactive Entertainment via Polygon

Hop off and look up and to your right. On the hinge of the door you’ll see one of Odin’s Ravens sitting there. Kill it with your ax.

Lake of Nine Raven 2

Travel around Tyr’s Temple until you’re on the south side. On your sled, ride close to the body of the temple and drive like you’re going toward the frozen lightning bolt.

You’ll come across a small alcove in the ice. Just inside, near the temple, you’ll find one of Odin’s Ravens. Kill it with your ax.

The Oarsmen Raven

All the Odin’s Ravens locations in God of War Ragnarök (48) Image: SIE Santa Monica Studio/Sony Interactive Entertainment via Polygon

Make your way to The Oarsmen section of Midgard, which you can get to by turning right at the broken part of Tyr’s statue in the Shores of Nine area.

Proceed forward along the quest until you kill the centaur, then climb the ice pull the giant chain on the other side. This will unveil a second set of stairs. Walk up to the frozen ship and look up at the statue of The Oarsman on your right. You’ll see Odin’s Raven perched on a piece of stone above the statue’s knee.

The Derelict Outpost Raven 1

All the Odin’s Ravens locations in God of War Ragnarök (50) Image: SIE Santa Monica Studio/Sony Interactive Entertainment via Polygon

West of Tyr’s temple, at the end of a long and winding trail, you’ll find The Derelict Outpost. Park your sled and hop over the wall, but don’t proceed forward to the Mystic Gate or the chain that will take you to Sindri’s Shop.

All the Odin’s Ravens locations in God of War Ragnarök (51) Image: SIE Santa Monica Studio/Sony Interactive Entertainment via Polygon

Instead, look immediately left after hopping the stone wall. You’ll see a trapped ship, frozen between the stones above you. Move under the ship and look into the massive hole in its hull. You’ll see one of Odin’s Ravens peeking out at you.

The Derelict Outpost Raven 2

Move into The Derelict Outpost proper, and use the crane to grapple into the main arena. Turn right and proceed forward until you reach a grapple point that’s too low to be usable.

All the Odin’s Ravens locations in God of War Ragnarök (53) Image: SIE Santa Monica Studio/Sony Interactive Entertainment via Polygon

Look at the wooden pole that the grapple point is attached to. On top of the pole you’ll see an Odin’s Raven. Kill it.

Well of Urd Raven

All the Odin’s Ravens locations in God of War Ragnarök (54) Image: SIE Santa Monica Studio/Sony Interactive Entertainment via Polygon

In the Well of Urd, climb up and squeeze through the crack in the wall like you’re headed to see the Norns.

All the Odin’s Ravens locations in God of War Ragnarök (55) Image: SIE Santa Monica Studio/Sony Interactive Entertainment via Polygon

Climb the back wall after the crack. When you’re close to the top, you’ll see markers on the wall that indicate that you can slide left instead of making the final jump up. Sidle over to the left and onto the lip. Walk forward and you’ll see a red flag blowing in the wind. Look toward the flag and the mountain behind it. You’ll see one of Odin’s Ravens perched on the mountain above you. You know what to do.

Alfheim, second visit

Once you’ve been to Vanaheim and finished the story there, you’ll be able to access the second half of Alfheim’s massive optional area, the Forbidden Sands. When you arrive, the first thing you should do is complete the “Song of the Sands” side quest, as you won’t be able to kill at least one of the Odin’s Ravens without doing so first. (Plus, that quest rules.)

The Forbidden Sands Raven 1

Once you free the second Hafgufa, look immediately to your right right and you’ll see a massive statue of Freyr. (It’s just to the left of the “the” in The Barrens name on the map).

Head over and stand on the Light bridge. Look up above you and you’ll see the Raven soaring around in the night sky. Take it out.

You’ll come across a small cliff that you can climb up, which houses a stone troll. Behind this troll is another of Odin’s Ravens. Kill it.

The Forbidden Sands Raven 3

To the right after entering the Forbidden Sands, past the tunnel that leads to the elf library, you’ll find a large rock structure that’s held up by a wooden frame.

Face the entrance to the Hjarta and look up. You’ll see one of Odin’s Ravens perched on the rock above. Kill it.

This final Odin’s Raven is the trickiest to find on your own. After you’ve freed the second Hafgufa, head to the big elf library in the northern part of the map.

All the Odin’s Ravens locations in God of War Ragnarök (63) Image: SIE Santa Monica Studio/Sony Interactive Entertainment via Polygon

Walk to where you’d normally climb up and into the library and strike the wall right under the circle, behind the dark elf corpses. Note that you can’t access this part of the wall if the sandstorm is still raging.

When the wall crumbles away, crawl into the little hole. Walk forward until you reach a more open part of the chasm and look to your left. You’ll see the final Alfheim raven flying overhead. Smite it.

Svartalfheim, second visit

Several hours into God of War Ragnarök, after you visit Midgard and the Norns, you’ll head back to Svartalfheim to forge a new weapon in ... The Forge. With the Draupnir Spear, you’ll gain access to a few new areas in Svartalfheim, which in turn will let you take out more of Odin’s Ravens. The spear also has incredibly precise ranged attack, making it far easier to take out Ravens with irritating flight paths.

The Forge raven

The first of the new Odin’s Ravens on this visit is during the quest to get the Draupnir Spear, though you can return via the elevator if you miss it the first time around.

Make your way to the top of The Forge, near the giant diving bell that you go in to get the Draupnir Spear. While facing the bell, turn to your left and you’ll see Brok’s little makeshift workshop. Look up and to the left and you’ll see the green Odin’s Raven perched on the wall.

Alberich Hallow raven

With the Draupnir Spear, you’ll finally be able to access Alberich Hollow, which is an extension of the Dragon Beach area. Land on the beach and use your new weapon to climb up to the bridge via the scaffolding on the left side of the area.

When you reach the giant dwarf statue, turn left and progress forward. Use the first explosive pot to open the path and then stop when you get to the second pot. Destroy the enemies here and then look back toward where you came, in the direction of the dwarf statue. You’ll see one of Odin’s Ravens perched on a rock near a big tree. Kill it.

Alberich Island 1

Once you have the Draupnir Spear, head to Alberich Island and use your new weapon to climb up to the second floor.

Ignore the ghost for now and head up the ramp to your right. Turn left and destroy some Sonic ore with your arrows. Walk forward and you’ll see one of Odin’s Ravens soaring between your island and a nearby cliff. Use your far more precise range weapon to take it out.

Alberich Island 2

From the first Alberich Island Raven, jump down to the second island via the two grapple points. When you land on the island with the water wheel, walk forward and up the step.

Keep left and look for a hole in the rocks. Look through the hole and you’ll spy one of Odin’s Ravens. You might’ve spotted this one while rowing around the lake earlier in the game; now’s your chance to finally get it.

Helheim

Helheim is one of the smallest realms in the game. There really isn’t much to do or look for here — however, you can find two Odin’s Ravens. Best of all, both are very close to the realm’s only mystic gateway.

Helgrind Raven 1

The first Raven in Helgrind is visible immediately when you leave the mystic gateway.

Once you finish the main story in Helheim, you’ll be able to access the Hel’s Perch area via a grappling point to the left of the mystic gateway.

On the way to the perch, you’ll see a lore tablet sitting in front of the doorway that leads back to the final arena where you faced Garm. Look above this tablet and you’ll find the second Odin’s Raven.

Vanaheim, second visit

Once the crew heads back to Vanaheim to rescue Freyr, you’ll gain access to a different part of the Eastern Barri Woods and the Abandoned Village. Each of these locations will give you a shot at a previously inaccessible Odin’s Raven.

When you find yourself in the Eastern Barri Woods, on the right path from the Abandoned Village. Keep an eye out on your left for some stairs.

This will lead you up to a small pavilion housing a Nornir Chest. Walk past the Nornir Chest and bear left. Continue until you hit some roots. To your right, in the hole in a giant tree, you’ll see one of Odin’s Ravens. Kill it with the Draupnir Spear.

The Abandoned Village Raven

When you’re back in the Abandoned Village, after your enemies have blown a hole in the wall during the ambush, make your way to the little pavilion covered in vines.

To get a good angle on the spear hole you’ll need to drill in order to progress the story and bring the object back to the wolves, you’ll need to walk out onto the little pavilion’s balcony.

On this balcony, look to the left of the spear hole and you’ll see an elf statue bound in the tree. On top of this statue is one of Odin’s Ravens. Kill it.

Muspelheim

Like Helheim, there isn’t much to collect in Muspelheim outside of The Crucible area, which has no Odin’s Ravens. Very close to the end of the game, however, you’ll gain the ability to travel to The Burning Cliffs, where you visited with Thor earlier in Ragnarök. Here you’ll be able to find the realm’s only two Odin’s Ravens.

Burning Cliffs Raven

Take the mystic to the Burning Cliffs and follow the path to the right into the cave. You’ll see a Legendary Chest ahead of you, which you can’t miss.

Before you leave the cave, look to your right and you’ll see a little window. Sitting in that window, near the lava, is one of Odin’s Ravens. Take it out.

Surtr’s Forge Raven (Image spoiler)

Make your way to meet Surtr in his forge. (You can get back here by following the same path if you’ve already spoken to him).

Walk up to his table and then turn around. Up and to your left you’ll see what looks almost like a ruined temple. Look through the doorway and you’ll spot one of Odin’s Ravens. Kill it.

Vanaheim, The Crater

The Crater is one of the largest regions in the entire game, and, as such, houses quite a few Ravens for you to take down across three distinct areas. You won’t be able to reach this massive optional area until after you’ve visited Vanaheim for the second time

The Jungle Raven

When you first enter the Jungle area of the Crater, which you can do via the left-most area of the Plains, you’ll come across a distant island where a troll is chucking massive boulders at you. While this is a pretty stressful position to find yourself in, look past the troll and onto the ridge above it. You’ll see one of Odin’s Ravens.

The easiest thing to do here is wait until you eventually get over to the other side of the chasm and kill the troll, which you’ll be able to do once you get the water flowing. But if you turn left and grapple to the other area, then walk forward onto the half-broken bridge, you can kill the Odin’s Raven with a well-aimed toss of your Draupnir Spear.

The Sinkholes Raven

Make your way to the Sinkholes Entrance mystic gateway and start the “Burning Skies” favor by opening the gates to the circular river area buried deep in this subregion. Proceed through the two river circle gates to the other side, toward the dragon’s lair.

When you enter the dragon’s part of the river, land at the first beach you can. Make landfall, then turn left and walk out to face the river. On the cliffs to your right, you’ll see one of Odin’s Ravens. Strike it down.

The Plains Raven 1

Near the entrance to the Sinkholes, on the east side of the Plains, you’ll find see Brok’s shop.

Make your way there and walk past the shop. To your right, near a lush tree across the cavern, you’ll see one of Odin’s Ravens. Destroy it.

The Plains Raven 2

Hop in a boat and travel to the frozen lightning bolt. Grab the dock to the west of the bolt, which is close to the dragon’s lair and one of the seasonal stags.

When you land, look toward the frozen bolt and then up and to the left. You’ll see one of Odin’s Ravens perched on the cliff. Destroy it.

The Plains Raven 3

Head to the left side of the Plains and run past the giant gate that’s either covered in the wood during the day or guarded by a massive troll at night. Go past the gate until you reach another gate that you can’t open due to poison.

Take the left path into a cave instead. Jump across the gap and then jump again to your left. When you land after the second grapple, turn around and look down. Among the rocks below you’ll find another of Odin’s Ravens. Kill it.

The Plains Raven 4

Follow the primary side quest in the Plains to save Birgir. Go through the gate that the troll is guarding at night and keep right to reach the boss. Once you enter the arena, kill the Crimson Dread — the unmissable giant dragon — but don’t leave just yet.

While still in the arena, turn left from where you entered and then turn left again.

You’ll end up facing some rocks near a small pit. Look down into the pit to find one of Odin’s Ravens.

The Plains Raven 5

At night, grab a boat anywhere in the Plains and take it toward the entrance of the jungle. But instead of docking at the beach, row past it and further down the river. (You’ll come here as part of the “Dead of Night” side quest, where you’re hunting a glowing Dreki).

When you land, follow the blood, jump into the arena, and kill the dreki. Once they’re dead, look north toward the stone wall. On a rock to the right of the wall, you’ll see the final Odin’s Raven in this area. Kill it.
